Spirit of 2012 tendering Monitoring and Evaluation contract

Spirit of 2012 has begun a tendering process to work with an organisation or individual that can support our funding recipients to build their capacity for monitoring and evaluation.

We’re looking for a partner to work with Spirit Grantees at the inception stage of their projects to help understand their Monitoring and Evaluation needs and capabilities. The partner will also offer advice on particular M&E challenges across the life cycle of the funding and will help Spirit interpret the data available in a meaningful way. The contract will run for three years and is worth a minimum of £25,000 and a maximum of £75,000.

We’d be particularly interested in applications from organisations that have experience in collecting data from beneficiary groups who may find traditional data collection methods difficult or unappealing. We would also like to hear from those who can support organisations to think about systematic qualitative data collection, as well as output and other quantitative data.

Amy Finch, Spirit of 2012’s Head of Learning and Impact, explained: “Spirit is looking for a partner to help improve and grow our ability to capture meaningful data from the projects and partners we work with through monitoring and evaluation. We’re looking for an organisation that combines practical, solutions-focused advice with an infectious passion for maximising and understanding project impact.”
